tear me down   watch the world crumble beneath my feet   I can’t make a sound   my head is ringing with defeat   tie me up   watch the world take hold of me   and time is up   again      yeah it’s not so simple      there are things knocking at my head that I can not let in   there are things inside my soul   you wouldn’t dare to know   there are some things I should have said that I just left in   there are some things I’d love to know      yeah it’s not so simple      when all disguise has fallen and my last hope has been burned just dowse my dreams in gasoline and wait for the flames return   because I’ll laugh it off   when these blue skies return again
