its a brand new day, I can feel it in the air  I see it so clear, the next movement is here  its been a few years but I'ma make it reappear  see this is hip hop, can I get a Aw Yeah  I used to love her, most of yall never knew her  almost everyday I would write a letter to her  I let her know what we've all been doing in her absence  and how we only tend to speak about her in the past tense  cause today, every song is uniform  we wonder how we all gon make it through the storm  then from the art form, something brand new is born  and you know word is bond when I get up on the horn  we talk about how the game was once golden  forget its ever moving, keeps unfolding  so they ask me whats next, but I dun told em  this is the next movement, we are the ones chosen    CHORUS:  watch what ya doin and set it in motion  set it in motion its the next movement  watch what ya doin and set it in motion  set it in motion its the next movement  watch what ya doin and set it in motion  set it in motion its the next movement  watch what ya doin and set it in motion  set it in motion its the next movement      the next movement, this the transition  for rap music, what it is the fans missing  those who wont listen, so my sole mission  to get, everybody to throw this in the deck  yea ... I'm starting to see a lotta signs  but they got nothing to do with them dollar signs  no, that is not why i signed on the dotted line  see i am in my prime but aint gotta lotta time  I can see what this game could be by now  and the reason that it aint that, i see why now  so I ask why now, with all the potential  give us an instrumental, pad and a pencil  this how it was meant to, be for the people  how we do, I relate with those that I speak to  bigger than a monster hit, we past social  this is rap with a spiritual consciousness    CHORUS:  watch what ya doin and set it in motion  set it in motion its the next movement  watch what ya doin and set it in motion  set it in motion its the next movement  watch what ya doin and set it in motion  set it in motion its the next movement  watch what ya doin and set it in motion  set it in motion its the next movement
