Sherrie don’t come ‘round here, don’t come ‘round here no more   Sherrie don’t come ‘round here, don’t come ‘round here no more   Hooked up with a bad man at a good time   Said she ran into a door   Left her by a thread on a life line   And that’s the reason why she don’t come ‘round here no more      Huey don’t come ‘round here, don’t come ‘round here no more   Huey don’t come ‘round here, don’t come ‘round here no more   Heard he had a drink with some old friends   Turned into three then four   Kept on going straight around ‘round that old bend   That’s the reason why he don’t come ‘round here no more      It’s just a mix up it’s not your time   Do you want a second try?   It’s just prediction then fate collides   Not sure if I’m surprised      John don’t come round here, don’t come ‘round here no more   John he don’t come round here, don’t come ‘round here no more   Checked in a casino with a girlfriend    Did a line then did some more    Thought his heart could keep up like a young man   That’s the reason why he don’t come ‘round here no more
