My name is Katy and I come from Wales  I'd like to sing you a little song  My name is Katy and I come from the land of castles, valleys, hills, and song  It all began on the way to the Grateful Dead  When they found her in the back of Jodi's car  She didn't say much, but she shook her egg  Then we knew she'd be a star  We are a band and we don't want her to go  So we'll get her a drumset she can play  We'll practice daily so we can go on tour  When we hit the road then she can say:  My name is Katy and I come from Wales  I'd like to sing you a   little song  My name is Katy and I come from the land of castles, valleys, hills and song  Don't say she's English...she comes from Wales  (I come from Wales)  And she'll correct you in a flash  (oh yes I will)  Her hair's not red, it's strawberry blonde  Don't get caught dead sayin it's red  Don't say it's red  My name is Katy and I come from Wales  I'd like to sing you a little song  (don't say it's red)  My name is Katy and I come from the land of castles, valleys, hills and song  Don't say it's red
