And He hung so long upon that cross  But no one every cared  And the blood He spilt upon that cross  Washed away my sins  And thought I try to understand the cause  Its more than I can take  Upon that cross   Christ died for us  and rose the next two days    And He hung so long upon that cross  But no one every saw  And the tears that fell upon that cross  Washed away my sins  And thought I try to understand the cause  Its more than I can bare  Upon that cross  Christ died for us  His passion lives once more    And though I try to understand the cause  Its more than I can take  And thought I try to go back to that day  When He was hung upon that cross  And no one every cared to see  Upon that cross He died for us  And saved the whole nation    And He hung so long upon that cross  But no one every cared  And the blood He spilt upon that cross  Washed away my sins  Thought I try to understand the cause  Its more than I can take  Upon that cross Chrsit died for us  And saved the nations
