I know that it's winter now   because the air around me is cold.   I know that it's over now,   because she isn't around anymore      It may take a week or two before she sees that I did what I had to do It's been awhile now I can say my life's great   It might take a chance encounter till she sees that I can live without her It's been awhile now I can say my life's great      I may look like Clark Kent, but I'm no Superman   Seemed to think it wasn't hard on me, but I felt so alone and empty      I used to sit around and wait,   ven though I hate being ignored   I see that's just how she handles things,   and that's just her being herself
