Going through the changes year after year   Flowing with the current as it happens here   Well, even if I like it everywhere I go   At times, times will be hard, that's the truth, I know      But at 500 miles an hour   Up on an airplane, I'm flying over   Over the mountains I used to climb once   I'm on an airplane, I'm flying over   Over the oceans I used to sail once   I'm on an airplane, ooo   I'm on an airplane, ooo      It's funny how this world can be so small to you   And it's crazy how it can look so big from another view   Hey, the problems make me suffer, have me asking why   Yeah, but now they're like the dot on the ground from the sky      And at 500 miles an hour   Up on an airplane, I'm flying over   Over the mountains I used to climb once   I'm on an airplane, I'm flying over   Over the oceans I used to sail once   I'm on an airplane, ooo   I'm on an airplane, ooo      From way up here   And it's me and the clouds   And I'm staring at the setting sun   No one can try to drag me cause I won't come down   I've looked around for what I like   Now look what I've found      Up on an airplane, I'm flying over   Over the mountains I used to climb once   I'm on an airplane, I'm flying over   Over the oceans I used to sail once   I'm on an airplane, ooo   I'm on an airplane, ooo   I'm on an airplane, ooo   I'm on an airplane, ooo   I'm on an airplane
