Chinatown Shakedown   I went down to Gentleman Jim's   He looked so wild, I didn't recognize him   I got out the side door, 'cause I had a hunch   That when Jim gets wild he packs a real   Mean punch   I said, "Hey Jim, now that's okay,   I'll come back and catch you on a better day."      Alienation on the second floor,   I gave it all, but you wanted more,   There's one thing honey, I can't understand,   Why do you mistake me for some other man?   We scratch and fight, and then clutch at straws   Well Mama, you know where you can find   That door      I've got the feeling   We'll get this right   It may seem strange to you   But it's just part of life   Down in Chinatown    Shakedown      From now on this is a friendly zone   And everybody here can call this home   I said, "Hey mama, now that's okay,   Might try and catch you on a better day."      I've got the feeling   We'll get this right    It may seem strange to you   But it's just a part of life   Down in Chinatown   Shakedown, mama   Here in Chinatown   It's a shakedown
