well i can't think today, it's been so long   since i've cleared my head, i'm hanging by a thread      so let's pack our things and go, i just can't take it no more   oh, this town and why, her love became so blind      so roll the windows down, and let the sound   flood into our ears, as i can feel the wind blowin'   oh, we're leaving in the morning      so let's go today   come on let's get so far away   and it really doesnt get much better than this   there's not too much that i seem to miss      so we come up north and come for nothing but a good time   where campfire confessions are the only kinds of crime   and the night sky is clear, just like the reason why   i love all of my friends and i trust them with my life      and i don't know what to say, cause this is the only way   oh what's important to me, it's not so hard to see      well chris has jumped into lake michigan   it's 3 in the morning and that water must be freezing   but do we really need a reason?
