i will go into the desert    not alone but accompanied    by the starry night sky    for she will keep me warm    when the wind blows    and she will hold my hand    i am not alone    for she is with me    the fear is gone    when she is with me    i am not alone    tonight    now we will lay together    the desert and i    her warm embrace surrounds me    and sheilds me    from the cold rain    the floods come pooring down    onto my face    i lay soaked    my knees are locked    the warm desert is now a shallow cold lake
