This is my favorite method of generating sales for my web hosting services. In a nut shell, what I do is I create turnkey businesses (businesses built just to be resold to other people) on Ebay and charge people a flat monthly fee to host the site they just brought on my web hosting service.

If you go to Ebay and have a look in the website/businesses for sale section, you will see people doing just this. It might look strange seeing a website sell for a few dollars. I never use to understand exactly how they made any money, then I realized, they were not making money from the sale of the business, but on the back end. They would create good clean website site, sell it on Ebay for a few dollars and then charge the buyer to host this site on their hosting service.

This is perfectly legal, as long as you tell them up front that they must continue to host their website on your web hosting services for a certain period of time.

You could easily sell 100 small websites a week on Ebay. On average, you could sell hosting for $10 a month. So every week, you could be making $1000 a week. But that's not the best thing, since web hosting is paid monthly, you get paid monthly for as long as they stay with your web hosting service. This is as close as a steady pay check as you are going to get with Internet marketing.

You get paid every month whether or not you actually even work.

#2 - Become A Dedicated Hosting Service Just For Blogs

Blogging is hot right now. Very hot. There are an estimated 40,000 new blogs started every day. EVERY DAY. Can you imagine that? Sure, most of them are hosted for free, but there are a lot of blogs and bloggers who want the control of having a domain name and their own web hosting for their blogs.

The great thing about blogs is that they take up very little disk space and transfer (bandwidth) allowance. You can host many, many blogs with very little resources and you can charge a good price for your services.

I think I should be listed in the Genius Book of World Records. I have been ripped off by a ton of web hosting companies over the years. Have you ever heard the saying, ?All That Glitters Isn't Gold?? That is probably one of the truest saying on the face of the earth when it comes to finding a hosting provider.

When I first started I went with a web hosting provider that charged $1.99. That was an offer that I simply couldn't refuse. At the time life appeared to be good. After a few months my business began to out grow my little $1.99 web hosting package. The upgraded package cost $14.99. After doing a little research I found that this package was a little expensive as compared to other hosting providers.

I submitted a request to have my domain transferred and was told that I could not do that. The email went on to tell me that they owned my domain name and if I wanted to transfer it ? it would cost me $150. I almost fell out of my chair after reading their email. After arguing back and forth via email they simply shut down my web site and I had no legal ground to stand on.

The only option that I had left was to move on and start all over again. The next go around I registered the domain name myself. Then I set out to find a web hosting provider. I now knew that I owned my domain and there was no way that I could possibly be ripped off. Boy was I wrong! With the new hosting provider I was promised ?X? amount of bandwidth each month. After the first month I was told that I had exceeded my bandwidth limit. I'm in no way a tech guy, but I knew that I was getting little to know traffic and it was impossible for me to have exceeded my bandwidth limit.

Once again I found myself caught in the middle of another web hosting scam. The offered a killer offer and once they got you in the system they then pushed, and pushed until they upgraded you their higher hosting package.

After a few years and being ripped off more times than I care to count I thought about a saying that my mother once told me? ?If you wanted something done right, do it yourself!? So my friend that is exactly what I decided to do.

I launched my own web hosting company with the end user in mind. I decided not to go with all of the fancy packages that pretty much meant nothing. I wanted to make it simple for every one no matter how much knowledge you had about all of the tech stuff.
