What is instant love? It is one of the most difficult question for mankind. Centuries have passed, relationships have bloomed and so has love. But no one can give the proper definition of instant love. To some, Love is friendship set on fire, for others, instant love is luck. No matter how you define it or feel it, love is the eternal truth in the history of mankind. The meaning of love will change with each different relationship and depends more on its concept of depth, versatility, and complexity. But at times the very existence of love is questioned. Some say it is false and meaningless.
Not everyone believes in love at first sight, but it does happen. How can you deny that feeling of looking at someone and feeling like you got sucker punched; in a good way of course. Immediate thoughts of your future with the person and what your kids will look like are common with love, not lust. Lust at first sight is a purely physical reaction. Thoughts of spending your future with this person are not there. What you are feeling is so strong that all you want is to spend time with that person however short or long that time may be. You don't feel anything when that person leaves since there was no love to begin with.
Some psychiatrists believe that love at first sight is dependent on what you are feeling at the time your eyes meet the other persons. Psychiatrists also claim that men fall in love at first sight more frequently than women do. They are also believers in that people who fall in love at first sight do so because, subconsciously or not they are ready to do so. At the end of the date, how can you tell if it's going to be more than that?
When people fall in love, they are often nervous and anxious since they have not experienced love before. Especially if they are feelings never before experienced. Don't push the feelings aside and don't try to deny them because strong feelings such as love are not easy to hide away from. Who knows, the person you are with, might be having similar thoughts and feelings you are.
People who are looking for love are trying to find that one person who will complement them and live with happily always. So, when you feel as if it has happened to you, pursue it, don't negate it. To love the right person is a great feeling.
This can make for a lot of uncomfortable little, or not so little, moments in your budding relationship. Telling someone that you love isn't only about sharing your feelings, it is about being vulnerable and accepting the fact that you may be rejected as a result of your feelings, and this can be down right scary!
Saying the Words
When you know that you love someone, think of a special way to do it. Maybe you could plan a special dinner, revisit the location where you first met, or just plan something out of the ordinary that will help set the stage. This may give you the confidence and the build up that you need to actually say the words aloud.
Make sure to start off telling the person that you love that you want to be open with them. Tell them that you believe that communication is key and you have something really important to tell them and you aren't sure how they are going to respond. You will want to make sure that you are able to look into your loved one's eyes when you say the words. And then, just say it.
Saying the words out loud will be the hardest and the easiest thing you have ever done in your life. When you say the words you not only unleash a big burden you are also taking on possible rejection, which may leave you with an odd mix of emotions.
After you say the words you need to be prepared for a reaction from the other person. You need to prepare for the fact that the person may not feel the same way and determine ahead of time what this will mean. You also need to be prepared for your partner to be speechless and just not know what to say, this is a common response.
Remember that telling someone that you love them is not something that you should rush into. In addition, telling someone that you love them isn't all there is to it. You also need to show the person that you love them and care for them by being friendly toward them, talking to one another, and just spending quality time together. Love is a commitment, but it can be an awesome experience when you remember that to maintain love you will need to work at it.
