Nowadays people can build free websites without having to face too many problems and it is very easy to find free host providers that are willing to host your free website. Nevertheless, we advise you to be careful when resorting to such a site because there is the possibility of losing the things you have on your web site.

Unfortunately, people who are looking for free web page hosting are subjected to different advertisements whenever they access a free web site. Moreover, it is most probable that you shall receive emails containing ads from your free provider and you can even lose your privacy, for example your email address can be sold to a third party for profit. Also, there are other hosting providers who offer unbelievable storage conditions such as an impressive disk space, email accounts and even free set up. These suppliers provide such great offers because they make money from the domain registration.

It is a fact that free web page hosting is a solution if you cannot afford for some hosting services. Nevertheless, you must keep in mind that all free things have some restrictions and this is also the case here. Even if you find the best web hosting solution, for free hosting you will encounter several restrictions such as: limited disk space which usually ranges from 5 to 10 MB and in exceptional conditions some providers will offer even 30-50 MB, limited bandwidth that is around 3-5 GB, strict limits regarding the execution and installation of the CGI scripts, limited file types and a file size limit.

If you want free web page hosting you will have to accept these limitations; however it is recommended to resort to a host company that will offer you the best web hosting solution and that doesn't have too strict limitations. Generally speaking, free web page hosting is quite unreliable and if you want to store important documents it is important to resort to hosting companies that have been in the business for a couple of years. You don't want to resort to a company that will cease to exist in a couple of months due to the tough competition.

Another disadvantage of free web page hosting is the fact that providers who offer free hosting will not offer any technical support. If you are planning to store important documents on a free web site, we suggest resorting to paid services. The best web hosting solution for those of you who have important documents or other items that they want to store is to find a reliable hosting company that has affordable hosting plans. Thus, you will be able to select the hosting plan that suits your needs best and you won't have to pay for any features or options that you don't need.

Due to the numerous drawbacks and limitations, we recommend you to resort to free hosting only in the case of personal hosting. Thus, if you have your own business, you will avoid losing customers because of endless advertisements, slow server response and multiple hosting restrictions. A business man known for his professionalism, reliability and credibility should not choose free hosting for his business.

Nevertheless, having briefly stated the drawbacks of free hosting, it is important to mention that there are still some companies which have excellent conditions. Some of these free hosting companies represent the best web hosting solution for you, since they support other coding besides HTML, they do not overcrowd your website with ads, offer technical support and enough web space. However, in order to find such a provider you will have to do a little research and compare different free hosting providers.
