Looking for the perfect gift for someone who has everything? Instead of looking for just one gift, why not create a gift basket that is tailor made to the function as well as to the person the gift is meant for. Gift baskets are a gift idea nonpareil. They are versatile, can be gifted on any occasion and can be as expensive or as frugal as you choose it to be.
While there is a plethora of ready-made gift baskets easily available, they lack the personal touch of a gift-basket that is specially put together keeping the recipient's special preferences in mind.
The sky's the limit
Special gift baskets are fun to create! The possibilities are endless and you are only limited by your imagination and your budget. When creating a special gift basket the most important thing is the theme of the basket. Knowing or finding out about a person's special preferences or favorite pastime or hobby is a great way to start.
The Italian Connection
Know a friend who absolutely loves Italian food? Create a gift basket filled with irresistible Italian treats. A variety of pastas and pasta sauces, black and green olives, virgin olive oil, mustard, cheese and a bottle of Italian wine put together in a beautifully wrapped wicker basket or even a picnic hamper would be greatly appreciated. This gift- basket needs no reason or season for gifting. It could be a thank you gift or a housewarming gift or simply a thinking of you gift.
The Gourmet Gardener
A new home owner who plans to grow her own vegetables would be delighted at a collection of gardening tools as well as a variety of seed packets and terracotta pots. Put it all together in a large straw hat that can be used on sunny afternoons and include some herbal tea as well as some refreshing lemonade packets to enjoy after a long day spent digging and weeding.
Cookies n Cream
Trying to win brownie points with that special someone? Put together a delicious collection of chocolate chip cookies, madeleines, ginger snaps and pecan bars in a romantically decorated basket. Don't forget the brownies!! Include a favorite C.D. or a book by a favorite author, some drinking chocolate or a packet of gourmet coffee and you know that someone special will be thinking of you for a long, long time.
Increase the thrill quotient a few notches by wrapping each gift individually and watch the excitement unfold as the recipient opens out each gift and unravels the mystery of what lays within!! Specially created gift baskets are sure to be as much fun for the giver as it is for the receiver.
