Internet has grown by leaps and bounds and hence has become a part of our modern day world. It's a new world out there on the internet. Now people have two set of friends called as "Friends" and "Internet Friends." Our this article deals with how you can use the internet ans its power to help you solve your problems just like friends are there for you in your 'Rea;' life.
People encouter various problems, or have queries which can be solved by asking or taking advice of someone elderly or knowledgeable in that particular field. So you opt to loof for friends who are related in someone or the other to your problem. Here is where, our Internet comes into play. It's so large by now that about 6,606,971,659 people in the world use internet (as per www.InternetWorldStatistics.com). And this medium needs no intoduction to ask for help. You can harness the power of these people to get your problems solved. We will now discuss how you can do that. But first we will create categories of problems as follows:
1. Work related.
2. Shopping related.
3. Life related
4. Studies related
5. Others
Note: "Other" can be anything which does not fit in the first four. I have done this just to make it simple to understand. You can refer the first four categories to get your work done be it on anything.
The best way to look for information your are looking is to look for a forum on that particular or related topic. Say I want to know information about computers, so Computer Forums will be a natural place for me to start. Or if I'm interested in colleges for my Graduation and discuss about it. Then I wil start looking for forums on education, exams, students etc. 'Forums' is kind of a community with it's own objective and some rules. So now I will discuss how to use forum to get your information. (In our case, for Graduation related.)
At any forum, you first need to register yourself with a username and password. Then move on to the introduction section which every forum has and introduce yourself. Write who you are and what you are looking for there. Senior members of that forum might give you the details after seeing your post there.Explore the forum well first and see if you can get any info related to what you are looking for. If you find anything worth or good enough post your query to the original author in the same topic and see if you can get mor details from him/her regarding it. If you don't find anything much related to your problem create a new 'Thread' in the appropriate section and post what you are looking for in that thread. Be specific on what you post and post your complete requirements. Next thing you should do is wait for replies and read them and again raise your doubts, if any, from those replies. Now that should solve your problem. Join at least three forums related to your topic. I am sure, this will solve your problem pretty fast.
After reading this a question might have popped in your mind as to where to find these forums. Well just make a search in any search engine. e.g. in our case ? Computer Forums?, "Graduation Forum" , "College forums" , "Graduation colleges discussions", "GRE exams board" and such relate queries.
Remember, once you get a forum, you can always ask members there to suggest for other forums as well on your related topic. Also, try making friends on every forum. This will help you to get more and more information and help too.
