But with other obligations such as a regular job, schooling, raising children or caring for family members what you really need to find is a part time income that will fit around already existing commitments.

A new method to fill this need is called affiliate marketing. If you are not familiar with what is, it's simple. You get paid to sell other people's products online using your computer and Internet connection. Hopefully this how to affiliate marketing article will help you to realize the advantages of this venture.

First thing you will need to do is write down your daily and weekly activities to see were your time is going. Can you locate 30 minutes here or there that you could use to learn how to affiliate marketing? If you could just devote one hour a day you would be surprised at what you could accomplish. If you can find more than that would be even better.

Now write out yourself a schedule. One for at least 4 or 5 days of the week. You will need time to study and you will need time to implement what you learn. Be sure to schedule both. Many just become full time students and never muster up the courage to implement, fearing failure. A 50/50 balance will be needed. Plan your work and then work your plan. Stick to it! Record your activities in a daily journal.

Once you have the above behind you it is time to get started. First you will need to join an affiliate marketing club. This would be a membership site that teaches all the needed skills and techniques required for the how to affiliate marketing and also have the necessary tools and resources to implement your knowledge. Quality memberships such as this will run any where from $50 to $100 monthly.

You might be frightened by the monthly dues however you will also be able to enroll in their affiliate program and direct others to the how to affiliate marketing course. You will be paid monthly commissions for each enrollee and by the third one your membership will be paid for. Keep it up and you will be making some extra money. This will be the start of your affiliate marketing adventure.

After your membership is covered you will not be under any financial burden concerning your affiliate marketing instruction. Now you will be able to focus on learning and implementing as you go. Promote the products or services inside the club first. This will be the easiest since everything is in place and at your fingertips.

When promoting affiliate products always use the free or low cost techniques first as you get a feel for your product, market and customers. Any mistakes made here will only cost you your time and not any hard earned money. Once you build the required skills you can magnify your profits in a shorter time my using the paid methods of generating customers.
