White-light LED home lighting systems offered great benefits for India's far-flungtribal villages.

These White LED lighting fixtures were powered by solar panels and having ahuge impact on very poor villagers in the remote regions of India.

This technology was first time implemented in the Indian state of AndhraPradesh to provide low-cost, long-lasting, renewable energy home lightingsystems for poor villagers.

Small solar panels, or even manual power, can be used to produce enoughenergy to keep these LED lights burning for hours in rural huts. Thereforeenabling children to read and study, this will trim down the dependence onkerosene lanterns for lighting.

You see right implementation of technology can bring a real difference, and that?strue in this case, now led lights are replacing conventional lights and arebecoming prominent.

This represents a typical example of how LEDs ? provided they are appliedcorrectly, with intelligent control and good thermal management ? are creatingmany advantages which are gradually being widely recognized and utilized.

Kerosene lamps don't help much in providing necessary light for people towork easily, read or feel safe. What's more, 40% of this same kerosene isresold to adulterate diesel through the black market. The kerosene lamps aredirty and pollute the environment and affect the lungs of off springs.
