How Artificial Trees Came About

The practice of using artificial Christmas trees was begun in Germany in the nineteenth century. Germany is also credited as being the first nation to use Christmas trees as symbols during the holiday season, although this piece of information is not complete because it is not even certain which German town or when the practice was first observed. Moreover, they no longer require one to cordon the tree with light bulbs to embellish it. Rather, the tips of the trees have built-in bulbs that glow by themselves once the unit is plugged to a power outlet. The most advanced of them all features a holograph facade that allows one to see radiant colors from the tree, depending on the direction and angle with which one looks at the tree.

Things Used in Artificial Christmas Trees
