There are many discussions about whether a person is born to be successful with a business or if they were made that way over time. For each of you that is a personal decision that you will have to decide, but I feel that each of us have ability to perform great things no matter what critics say.
I feel that most people don't understand that they have a choice how they will lead their life and that no matter what hurdles or environment you face, you still can make a lot of decisions that will lead you toward or away from being an entrepreneur. Your agency is the one thing you have complete control over in life.
Many people fail at being entrepreneurs because they choose not to be for whatever reason that may be. Some will succeed because of sheer determination or support, but this happens in many fields in life. Piano players, sports broadcasters, writers, painters, stunt double, actors, and the list goes on and on with all the different skills people can excel in, but it is up to you how much you put into it.
There are certain abilities that each of us can obtain easier than others. So for some becoming an entrepreneur might be easier or it might be easier for one person to understand marketing strategies while another one might find accounting or legal aspects easier.
What is really bad is how people use the born to be an entrepreneur as an excuse when they fail. I think people that are successful say it because they are cocky and don't want competition or don't want to train others to learn what they have learned. At the same time people will say that it is their family, environment, color of their skin or hair that allowed them to be successful and I think that is crazy.
Successful people got to where they are at after many years of work and preparation and the same thing can happen for you You just have to notice that they approached a goal before you. Just because you do so after them doesn't make you any worse.
A child was born knowing how to walk, but he or she had to learn it just like you or eye. He didn't come out of the womb speaking, but yet when he learns it he can be considered a "natural". We never stop learning in life and sometimes we might not realize our potential until many years down the road.
You get to decide in the end how passionate you are about a company or customers, or any aspect of business. And some day after you have put in enough effort people will call you a natural and you can tell them the truth.
