There are many reasons why people would prefer to use sample doctors notes rather than the real thing. A couple of reasons could be that the illness has taken them by surprise and come on very quickly. If this does happen, people could use the fraudulent doctors notes as they do not have time to actually visit the doctor. Another reason could be that there is just too long of a wait to actually get to see the doctor for a sick note. There is also the chance that a visit to the doctors would be too time-consuming and too expensive. These are all situations where the fraudulent doctors notes are perfect for excusing yourself from work or from school.

When you use these fake doctors notes instead of the real thing it is equally as important to not alert your superiors to the fact that the note is fake. If you aren't really ill, but you decide to use these fake doctors notes, make sure when you do finally go back to work or school that you at least act as if you are in recovery of your illness. A cough here or a grumble there could go a long way to making sure you don't get caught out when using the fraudulent doctors notes.

When you fill out the sample doctors notes make sure you don't come up with some outlandish reason as to why you are off work or school. If you do intend to return at some point there is no point coming up with some rare disease or illness that takes you only a few days to get over. The flu, a bad chest infection or similar illnesses are much more common and believable. Having these complaints rather than a serious disease allows you to take a few days off without the added pressure of getting caught.

When you do eventually go back to work or to school it is very important to be as productive as possible. When you go back, see what you have missed and get yourself up to date in all areas. Find out if there is anything you can do to make up for lost time or thank the people who took over your work for you if this is the case. If you show willing and look as if you did miss work then your superiors will be much more sympathetic and think you were actually sick and not faking.

Fraudulent doctors notes are there to be used when absolutely necessary. They are great for allowing yourself time to recuperate after a stressful week. Pick your times carefully to use the notes and make sure the reasons are appropriate.
