The place to start your summer makeup routine is at night. To get a fresh tanned look, apply tanning lotion at night to get the best effect from it. Make sure you remove any blusher that gets on to your temples. This will help to accentuate your cheek bones and give you a sun kissed look.

The best way to finish your look is with mascara and lip gloss. As it will be hot it is a good idea to use a waterproof mascara. One light coat should be enough just to add some colour to your eyelashes. When you apply your lip gloss, keep it to a neutral colour so that it looks natural. There is also no need to line your lips when it is hot. This will help to keep your look as natural as possible. When you go out you should take your lip gloss with you so that you can refresh it on a regular basis.
