Finding your soul mate is the dream of nearly everyone. Regrettably, when you "find" him or her, and you break up, it can be devastating, leaving you bewildered, confused and angry. Relationships are fragile; when they end, it can be stressful and depressing, particularly when you're convinced he or she is the one.
Now, the breakup may have been the best thing ever; your estimation of that potential soul mate may have been wrong, but ultimately that is for you to determine. But if you're convinced that he or she is "THE ONE," then here are a few tips on how to win them back.
First, don't appear needy. Don't give your ex the impression that you are desperate...All desperation does is breeds contempt, and you really don't want to promote that. It's a mark of weakness and will drive them away even more so. On the other hand, you want to give your ex the impression that you have moved on.
Party with your friends, socialize, and DON'T, and I mean don't, try to make your ex jealous. Let your ex see you're fine, that life is great. By doing this you have a better chance of getting your ex back because it will get their attention.
Second, determine what cause the breakup in the first place. Learn from it; you'll be richer for it. You can't time travel and make it right, but you can learn from your mistake. And don't beat yourself up.
Third, cut communication to a minimum. Not only do you need to clear your head and think about what happened, but also your ex needs to, too. Don't let your break up get you down or obsess over it. Also, minimizing communications, curbs the desperation factor, keeping you from appearing needy. Make your ex miss you.
I realize you want to do everything possible to get your ex back, and that minimizing communication seems counterintuitive, but it must be done to maximize your chances of getting what you want -- your ex back. Trust me, it works.
Lastly, You need a plan. You need to set-up a time when you want to meet, where you want to meet, and what you're going to say. Time these meetings appropriately; you don't want to plan the meeting too early or too late. Think it through; this will help you in accessing the situation more logically and improve your chances of getting your ex back.
