Color schemes in your clothing are important to consider too when packing your suitcase. You do not want to get too crazy, so it is best to pick one color scheme and stick with that throughout. Do not feel forced to go with all neutrals or all dark colors; pick three basic colors that go well together and try to spice it up. For example, gold, beige and red look great together and the gold and red can be dressed up or down. You could also go with blue, white and silver if you are going on a vacation somewhere tropical or to an island location.

Also, remember versatility; this should be your best friend when packing. Bring separate items of clothing that can be mixed and matched; this helps you keep the amount of clothes low, but also gives you a number of options with your outfits. Packing your suitcase is the difficult part and after that, you can just sit back, relax and enjoy your vacation experience.
