The monotony of life seems to catch up with everyone at some or the other stage of life. It is obvious that a person has two alternatives, either to compromise with this monotony or have a break and rejuvenate. Those who have guts opt for the latter alternative and embrace any sort of entertainment that they come across.

On line chatting can be constructive as well as destructive. Most of the people chatting on line do not enable the web camera so the picture of the person with whom you are chatting is not seen at all. On the other hand that person clarifies that he/ she cannot come on the web camera just because of technical problem with the web camera at his end. It is obvious that you are not going to travel that much distance just to know whether his web camera was working perfectly or not. We can say that a person can be anonymous. The element of anonymity is the most important issue of entertainment especially chatting. You do not know what person you are chatting with, unless he is close friend of yours. There are many a chatters who chat on the line personifying self to be of the opposite sex to their gender. In short many males chat as if they are females and many females chat as if they are males. This sort of strategy can be quite entertaining but at the same time risky. Most of the chatting is just fooling and wastage of time, money and energy. If you want the chatting to be productive then make sure the chatting is voice enabled as well as webcam enabled.

Mobile messaging usually includes sending and receiving the text message on the mobile. This can one of the best means of entertainment one can have. One can subscribe to entertainment service providers to send him/her jokes, poetries, puzzles and shairies regularly. There is a monthly subscription rate for this kind of text messaging. The message could be sent to you as Email SMS or Online SMS. The best part of mobile messaging is that once your mobile receives the text from computer, the message can be store indefinitely until and unless you want to delete it off. You can read the joke the moment you receive it or if you are busy you can read it later. A SMS can never disturb you unless you have enabled the incoming message alert in your mobile. Whenever you are in a group you can read the jokes stored in your mobile and provide entertainment to all. Since these jokes are in a text format they do not occupy a lot of memory.
