One of the best things about the Apple iPhone is that you can completely personalize it to your own needs and personality. While customization is one thing, the ability to install new applications so that your iPhone can do exactly what you need it to do is one of the many reasons that so many people have chosen this remarkable phone. New applications are being released every day and you are very likely to find something that does just what you want. One application that might interest you is the Marq application.
Although Marq may seem like a low-tech application the one thing it does very well is getting your message across to whoever you need to. The reason for the unusual name is because you type in whatever you want to say and it then creates a marquee-style message that scrolls across your iPhone's screen.
This truly gives you a very novel way to get your message across. You have options to change the colors used, the speed of the marquee and of course the message itself. This application really does add a lot of fun to your iPhone. Of course, there are more practical applications available such as iRibbit. What iRibbit does is bring eBay to your cell phone. Now you will be able to see what items are available and place your bids if you see anything that interests you. If you are a keen user of eBay then you simply need to install iRibbit on your iPhone.
Some people are quite understandably concerned about using applications such as this for bidding on eBay. One thing to bear in mind with iRibbit is that it actually won first place in the eBay International Widget Contest which should give you some reassurance. When you place bids with iRibbit you can be sure that you are using a secure, stable and easy to use application. Whether you are looking for items to bid on or you are a seller that wants to run an eBay store this application is definitely for you.
Another good thing about iRibbit is that it also gives you access to your eBay watch list and can even add and remove items as you need to. If you're bidding on a hot item such as a bargain priced Nintendo Wii but you can't be around a computer when the auction is due to end then using this application could ensure that you win the auction.
Installing applications on your iPhone is a great way to customize it. Whatever your needs are from something silly to entertaining your friends all the way through to running an eBay store you are bound to find an application for your iPhone that does exactly what you want. It really is this extensibility that makes the iPhone the perfect communication and productivity tool.
