Well I don’t have your number anymore    You probably changed it anyway    You always were the fastest one around    We had a fight and went our separate ways    But I don’t count the days since you had your    10,000th day    Congratulations    Do you still celebrate your revolution on the cover of the    Rolling Stone       And I’m just painting the drips on the wall    I’m just painting the drips on the wall now    It’s easier than painting the whole wall    I’m meeting all the people in the hall    They say “How are you”       Do you ever think about the past    Do you ever check in with yourself    Walking around wondering who I am    The answer comes in big blobs of red    Dripping to the floor    Congratulations    Do you still celebrate your evolution    With a haircut and one more photo shoot       And I’m just painting the drips on the wall    I’m just painting the drips on the wall now    It’s easier than painting the whole wall    I’m meeting all the people in the hall    They say “Hello”       Sometimes I wonder about change    But change doesn’t wonder about me    So I figure it’s enough to live, do anything at all    We all got stuff to give    Congratulations    You made it through another year of life    Hope you find some piece of mind       And I’m just painting the drips on the wall now    I’m just painting the drips on the wall    It’s easier than painting the whole wall    I’m meeting all the people in the hall    They say “Hello”
