Hypnotism for Golf

Does hypnotism work for golf work? Yes, it certainly can. Do you keep ruining your golf scores by losing your cool? Maybe you are nervous on the first tee and hit a bad shot, and that gets you going downhill. Or you can't get out of a bunker first time or just leave those critical putts short. Or maybe you have let yourself believe that you don't play par fives well.

These things have nothing to do with your golfing ability. How do I know? Because I have been there, done that. You know as well as I do that you can then go onto the driving range and hit your 'normal' shot, or you can hole the same putt on the practice green.

At least half of golf is in your mind

Yes, it is all in the mind, and the problem is caused by fear. You might not think it is fear, but might admit to anxiety. The anxiety may be that the fairway is narrow, that you are playing with people who you are think are better golfers than you, or just that you don't know them. Anxiety is just a minor form of fear. And it is not needed.

You know that, but every so often that little voice will come up and say: "You won't get that putt" or "This is a really difficult bunker shot, why did I thin that shot into here. Now I'm in trouble"

Get in the zone with self-hypnosis

You can talk yourself out of these things, but it is much easier if you can get into the zone before the shot. The zone is when you are concentrating exactly on what you are doing, you are calm and relaxed, holding the club lightly, and just seeing the ball, and thinking about where you are hitting it - and you are not thinking about the lake on the left and the big bunker on the right. You are seeing the middle of the fairway. You take the club back slowly, let it accelerate through the ball, thinking about where it is going. You can do this with hypnosis for golf.

Most of us can do this from time to time - maybe you remember the day you played that great round, and everything just went right. With hypnosis for golf you can learn to do it all the time - every shot you play. Will you still get those self-doubting sentences forming in your mind? Occasionally, but now you can talk them down with something like: "I hole putts like this all the time, it is just one more easy putt" or "I hit the ball straight, there is plenty of fairway". The you put yourself in the zone.

What do you have to do to get the benefit of hypnosis? The best way is to get a hypnosis download or CD that will take you through a series of situations so you learn how to be very relaxed and then how to apply that to every shot you play. At first, you will find that you cannot do it all the time, but suddenly you will hit a shot - drive, approach, chip or putt - when you know you are really in the zone.

With time you will find that you can get in the zone for each shot and your game will improve by leaps and bounds. One word of warning: you will need to hit the ball properly to start with. If you slice every shot out to the rough on the right on every hole, you need some help with your swing. Even so, hypnosis for golf really will help you improve your game.
