The head chef of Ubin Kitchen is a proud disciple to one of the renowned local chefs, who is otherwise known as one of the “four heavenly kings” in the f&b sector. The talented chef has over 40 years of cooking experience; not just limiting to Fujian dishes, he is also capable of whipping up Cantonese and Teo Chew cuisine, and a variety of seafood dishes. It is not uncommonly to see his new food creations so be prepared to explore interesting dishes introduced by Ubin Kitchen every now and then. The Ubin Black Pepper Crab is one of many signature dishes in Ubin Kitchen. The chefs utilized a different cooking style and method uniquely to the restaurant. You will notice the fragrance of black pepper bits fully penetrated into the crab meat, making it a dish you absolutely cannot miss when you visit us. Another signature dish of Ubin Kitchen is none other than the Honey Pork Ribs that is prepared using top grade Brazilian ribs and 10 other specially concocted spices. The attractive color of the Honey Pork Ribs makes this dish extra appetizing; a plate food of goodness will leave you asking for more upon taking the first bite. If you are tired of roasted chicken or chicken chop, you may wish to opt for something different like the Ubin Crispy Chicken. This dish requires all spices to be marinated, and then fry till it turns into a nice golden color before removing it from the pan. Accompanied with the in-house special salt and pepper powder, it will make this dish extra distinctively tantalizing. The Oyster Hokkien Mee is prepared using fresh oysters and prawns, squid, fish slices and many others seafood ingredients. Shrimp head, pork ribs, bones and other special ingredients are also combined to create the fragrant soup base, coupled with the tangy yet soft noodles, retaining the traditional flavour and taste of the 60’s.
