The only problem with this place was that the showers were in rooms with the toilets, so if anyone took a shower in there everything was wet. Otherwise, the staff was super helpful and the food tour was definitely worth it.

A good choice for backpackers. The Betel Box Bistro serves very authentic home-style Peranakan dishes. The good food, warm and friendly service and pleasant surroundings were enough to prompt a return visit.

Large living room with a kitchen, dining area, lounge area with comfortable day beds and pillows, games, sound system, a library, decorated with art, ethnic crafts and not to forget WIFI is absoluetly free.. what else one wants.
