The Criminal Law Criminal law is indeed the body of laws which relate to crimes. It is a kind of body of rules which define conduct which is not allowed for a certain reason that it is held to harm, threaten or endanger the safety of the majority of the people. The criminal law also sets out some punishment that needs to be imposed in people who don’t obey or follow these laws. The criminal laws also differ from the civil law whose emphasis is more in dispute resolution rather than on punishment. Everyone needs to follow criminal law to have a peaceful place.
