Operation Hours & Charges
A British flag was raised here in 1819 when Sir Stamford Raffles, founder of modern Singapore, first landed in Singapore. Since then, the Padang represents the very essence of colonial Singapore. Chosen by Raffles as a recreation area when he laid out the plans of the city; it has remained the site of the Singapore Cricket Club and the Singapore Recreation Club A plain unrelieved by trees or hills, it was a centre of colonial life for sporting events and social gatherings. Today, the Padang maintains its original use as a recreational space, and games like cricket and rugby are sometimes being played here. Opportunities to rent the Padang are available for games, corporate training, movie and sports screenings, as well as concerts.

Billard Room
The Billiard Room is geared for competition with a competition arena built to specific international requirements and spectator seats. The dazzling decor provides the ideal backdrop for the four billiard and snooker tables and a pool table.

Esplanade Bowl
Our 10-lane bowling alley is Singapore's first underground bowling centre. Its revolutionary AccuScore XL system with user-friendly scorers, entertaining computer generated graphics and colourful masks, takes bowling to new heights.

With effect from 15 June 2013, operating hours are as follows:

# Off Peak Hours: Monday - Friday from 3.30PM to 6.00PM
# Peak Hours: After 6.00PM on Weekends, Public Holidays & Eve of Public Holidays

The Gymnasium
Fat is out. Lean and mean is in. Step into our new and improved gymnasium and experience a new you in the making.

Whether it is a daily aerobic workout or a muscle building regime that you desire, everything you need to keep trim and fit is here. We have trained instructors on-site to offer guidance to beginners as well as advanced students.

Mahjong & Cards Rooms
Fancy a game of gin rummy or mahjong with fellow members, then look no further than our specially designed north, South, East and West rooms. Why stay at home, when you can be with your friends at Singapore Recreation Club.

The Oasis (Jackpot Room)

Member's Guest: $5 (Adult & Children above 14 Years Old)
(Charges are applicable for usage of Steam Bath/ Hot & Cold Pool/ Steam Bath/ Jacuzzi/ Towel & Locker)
Charge for loss of tower: $12 per adult towel, $5 per child towel
Charge for loss of locker keys: $20 per key
Keys returned after 24 hours & before 48 hours: $5/key

Social & Entertainment
BALUT
The SRC Balut Section was formed in 1983 by a group of committed and dedicated members to promote Balut as a form of recreation amongst SRC members.

Regular in-house activities and tournaments are held on Saturday afternoons at Lounge 1883. The Section also regularly represents SRC in the annual Inter-Club tournament and Inter-Port Balut Competition.
