Tried Dian Xiao Er yesterday, as what my brother told me that their 'Dang Gui Ducks' taste amazingly good. After trying, really agreed with what he had told. Their soup and prawn are nice and worth to try to. Reasonable price.
Went Dian Xiao Er with my boyfriend yesterday, we had duck, tofu soup and other delicious food served by Dian Xiao Er. I’m amazed by the duck (as I don’t believe what boyfriend said) because it is very different from what I have tried before outside other places. Their prices are reasonable too. I believe my family will love it too must try !!!
Personally, i prefer Dian Xiao Er's Rice Roll with fresh prawn and their Ten Wonder Duck which recommended by Chef. Taste not bad.
Coming to Dian Xiao Er just means that you must have to try the Herbal Duck which has 10 herbs in it. The duck absorb the sauce and making it juicy and yummy. Their vegetables, soup and a lot other dishes are all delicious. However, I will recommend to try their ala carte instead of the set meal. More choices, more freedom.
Dian xiao er is a place you can have nice Chinese food like tradition duck, tofu, soup and many more. I went Dian Xiao Er with my boyfriend yesterday, the foods are really nice and that makes my boyfriend finished 2 bowl of rice . The price are reasonable too! I will have my next family gathering at Dian Xiao Er.
This place serves good Chinese dishes. Must try their ducks especially the one season with 10 different herbs. Yummy.
This is easily one of my favourite dining places in Singapore, and perhaps one of the better places that you can bring your folks to.
Their signature dish is the "10 herbs duck", as the name suggests, it consists of 10 different herbs as seasoning to prepare this dish. But if you're worried about the bitter herbs taste from the herbs, fret not, it is so faint that you won't be bothered. Indulge, if you are a duck lover like me.
Don't be fooled by the cheap decor of this place as they serve one of the best delicious roasted duck. It is not just a plain old roasted duck which you would typically find it in other restaurants. This duck is marinated and roasted with additional herbs & spices that makes it very juicy and tender on the inside. Besides their specialty with the duck, they serve other flavoursome dishes as well such as cod fish, seafood claypot and the price is very reasonable.
Must try the spectacular duck, whether ten herbs, dang gui, or ginseng, all are good. The last one is the most expensive but I think well worth it. Other dishes to try include the big prawns, sliced fish, kai lan in some kind of citrus sauce, deep fried cod fish, boiled soup, etc. All dishes are really quite good. The herbal tea is a good beverage to wash down all the food with. Good service and ambience.
