[G215]Getting Back With An Ex
by Tracey Edwards, Tra
While many people might advise you to leave past relationships alone, it can be difficult if you still care for each other, especially when you seen others making up over far more serious problems that the reasons that you broke up.

This begs the question: is getting back with your ex a good idea or should you accept the situation and find love somewhere else?

To decide on the answer you need to first determine the reasons that broke the two of you up. Relationships break down over hundreds of different reasons and not all of them can be mended. If it is likely that the reason that you broke up will still exist if you got back together then perhaps it is time to look elsewhere.

If you are willing to change or make an effort to fix your relationship problems (assuming of course that you need to - relationships are a two-way street) then it is possible that you could get back together and be happy together.

There is still a chance that you can both be happy together if you both still do love each other. Of course often it can be difficult to determine if your ex does still love you as you have both probably said hurtful things to each other, so this is where you should trust your instincts. Even if they say that they no longer love you, do they really mean it or are they just trying to hurt you because they are hurting themselves?

If you can, try and step back and look at the situation objectively to see how you both act together now. In can even be a good idea to ask the advice of a good friend who is more impartial and less emotionally involved if you don't trust your own instincts.

The first steps that you take in trying to mend a broken relationship can be important in determining your success so it is important to try and keep a level head.

Well, the answer is yes. Please don't think that getting your ex back is impossible. Of course, it requires you to do some work but it is definitely not impossible. There are many couples who may be in a worse situation than you. Yet, they still manage to get their ex back.

If you want to get your ex back, it is a good idea that you understand this principle, "People want what they do not have."

If people cannot have something easily, they will tend to desire it more. Similarly, if people know they can have something easily, their desire will not be so strong.

So, how can you make use of this principle to get your ex back? Well, don't do things that violate this principle.

Most of the time, when people want to get their ex back, they usually made some very common mistakes that violates the principles. Chances are you may have already made those mistakes already.

But don't worry about it now. Because there are still things that you can do to correct those mistakes that you have made. And if you do it correctly, it can really improve the situation.

So, what are the common mistakes made by people that violates this principle.

1)Begging your ex to come back to you.

2)Telling your ex that you love him/her, so come back.

3)Calling him/her again and again.

4)Drunk dialing. You tried to call him/her when you are drunk and say something that you would probably not say had you been sober. This may land you in an embarrassing situation.

5)Spamming his/her inbox with your emails.

6)Spamming his/her cell phone with you text message.

7)Arguing about the break up because you most probably can't accept the reason given for the break up.

8)Stalking your ex to find out if he/she is dating someone else.

9)Meeting your ex "accidentally". You try to guess where your ex is going and you purposely go there to "bump" into him/her.

10) Contacting your ex's friends or family to ask them why your ex break up with you. You may suspect that he/she is dating someone else.

If you want to get your ex back, you will want to take note of those mistakes mentioned above. You do not want to commit than if you have not done so yet.
