It was no surprise that Andy Baldwin and Tessa Horst of The Bachelor: An Officer and a Gentleman called of their engagement just months after they concluded filming the reality show. In fact, the show has one of the worst track records in history for romances, except probably for The Bachelorette's Trista Rehn who remains to be happily married to her chosen man, Ryan Sutter. The reason behind the cancellation of the engagement was because Baldwin still had feelings for the women he sent home, Bevin Powers.

Life and Style magazine recently published an article in its rumor mill section, saying that Baldwin had shown some interest in Powers again, thus his engagement with Horts came to an end. This was pretty believable and in the realm of possibility. Bevin fell madly in love with Andy during her time on The Bachelor, and the same can be said for Andy, as he reciprocated his feelings, thus surprising the viewers when he chose Tessa over Bevin.

Powers recently headed for Baldwin's home state of Hawaii, however, according to her MySpace page, she was accompanied by her new boyfriend. Last month, Bevin made public the fact that she found a new man whom she said she was in love with. She called him DD, and told the public through her page that they flew to Hawaii.

Powers said, "I am thrilled to create new memories with DD and his family. He and his family have done nothing but welcome me with open arms. I'm so lucky to have found him." Fans and viewers alike are quite suspicious if she's telling the truth or if she's just throwing them off her trail.

This isn't the first time that a bachelor tried to go another way with a woman he did not choose. A few months after The Bachelor: Rome finale aired, Lorenzo Borghese broke up with Jennifer Wilson, the woman he chose and tried to rekindle the fire with Sadie Murray, the woman he sent home. However, that rekindling did not work, either.
