Aside from previous reports about conflicts with America 's Next Top Model's Tyra Banks, reality star Adrianne Curry has been busy living her post-ANTM life with various reality show projects. Debuting in America 's Next Top Model, she emerged successful in the reality series' first Cycle, and eventually moved on to star in VH1's The Surreal Life season 4. She subsequently dated co-star Christopher Knight, who proposed to her at the end of the season. The couple later starred in My Fair Brady, which lasted for three seasons.
Today, America 's Next Top Model has attempted to erase Adrianne Curry from the show, as photos and clips from the ANTM houses and on the opening credits no longer include the previous winner. But even if the show attempts to remove her from its history, they can't get her off air as she has already established herself as a reality star.
The former ANTM winner is again to star in her reality series, along with her husband Christopher Knight in the new two-hour "docu-reality" presentation, Chris and Adrianne Do Russia. The footage for this series was taken from this past summer, when the couple flew to Russia to host the Mrs. World competition. The documentation also included the sights of the places they've been to.
"This was, for us, about the first place we traveled to of significance, where neither of us have had any experience previously," Christopher Knight revealed. "This was something where we both got to experience a culture and the environment for the first time together."
While in Russia , the couple was able to take a 12-hour train ride to St. Petersburg , and eat bull penis, a local delicacy, in Moscow .
Adrianne also experienced some sickness, thus visiting a hospital during the Russian trip, but fans need not worry, as her sickness was not because of the bull penis meal.
Adrianne, who hasn't given up her blunt and frank manner of speaking, has learned quite a few down-to-earth lessons from the trip.
"I appreciate the toilet paper and Kleenex at home, probably more than anything else," Adrianne Curry said.
Fans await for Chris and Adrianne Do Russia, which airs on the WE network on Sunday, December 2 at 9pm Eastern.
Adrianne Curry was as popular for her strikingly exotic beauty as she was for her outspokenness and candor when she won the maiden cycle of America's Next Top Model's (ANTM). After her triumph, she went on to take part in the fourth season of the celebrity reality show, The Surreal Life, where she met former Brady Bunch star, Christopher Knight. When romance blossomed between them, a new show was spun off to focus on their ensuing relationship. My Fair Brady chronicled Curry's season-long efforts to get Knight to marry her.
Since Knight proposed to Adrianne Curry at the end of My Fair Brady's first season, the Next Top Model alum has kept herself and her personal adventures in the public eye via her personal website and MySpace blog. Unfortunately, her open-book policy seems to have backfired with a posting entitled ?Best Friend vs. Husband.? The seemingly extemporaneous entry gives a sketchy account of a recent squabble between her and her husband, regarding her work schedule and the time she's spent with a visiting friend. The anecdotal reference found its way to gossip columnist, Perez Hilton, who subsequently wrote about it under the headline ?Marriage in Trouble??
This prompted Curry to yank her original post and respond with a rebuttal. She clarified that the incident she wrote about was a minor spat and stated that ?Only because I am so secure in my relationship do I feel comfortable to admit we have the same stupid fights every other couple in the world has.?
In a separate entry, the Next Top Model stunner makes note of the improved relations between her and her husband. ?I feel more in tune with Chris because of the work we have done. We get along better then I ever wished for,? said America's Next Top Model's first champion.
