The common thing related to air cleaning when it comes to cars would be the air filters in the car. But the air filters can only do one job; to filter the air that is coming into the car, so that particles like debris and dust do not enter the cabin. There are two types of filters in a car, the combustion air filter and the cabin air filter.

Allergies are the main cause of asthma. If you suffer from asthma an car air purifier is a must. I'm sure you have noticed the dust that builds up in your vehicle. You may wipe off your dash board only to find it dusty again the next day. Dust and dust mites thrive in an enclosed environment like your car. Dust causes allergies to flare up and an auto air purifier can eliminate any dust build up. Moisture can accumulate in your car too, and can cause mold to build up. Mold is a common source for allergy problems. It not only smells terrible and makes your car feel stuffy, but actually makes breathing difficult. A car air purifier can actually prevent mold from building up.

Smoking is a real problem in an automobile. In such small quarters, smoke can get pretty thick and make breathing impossible. You can roll down the windows, but usually the smoke is blown back inside the car. An auto air purifier will purify the air and eliminate the smoke smell, making breathing safer and easier. To travel with a smoker for any length of time can be miserable especially in the winter when it is cold outside. They (the smoker), thinks that by opening a window and holding their cigarette outside, you are safe, but this is wrong as the smoke will still be inside the vehicle when they exhale. With the cold outside, the use of an auto air purifier can help keep the heat inside the car and not going outside the window.

A car air purifier, unlike other common air purifiers that we use in our house, is usually ultra portable or simply mobile. This would mean to say that you can fix the air purifier anywhere in the car you want. Some come with straps so that you can wrap them around the neck area of the seat, while some come with clips so that they can be stuck to the door. The most common car air purifier can also be placed on the floor between the seats. This location does not stop the job of the purifier, and in fact it does not get affected at all.

Using a car air purifier will not only help you get rid of obvious smells found in a car such as mold or mildew, but it will also keep the air fresh so it doesn't smell musty or give you the feeling like you can't breathe. Other odors such as perfume or body sprays can be overwhelming inside a vehicle, but with the use of a car air purifier, these smells can be cut down tremendously. There are odors such as tobacco smell that seem to just linger inside a vehicle. A non smoker can usually smell it right off, but for someone who smokes, they may not be as aware. The use of a car air purifier will help rid the air inside of your vehicle from harmful smells such as tobacco smoke.
