If you need to escape from the pressures of urban life, take a look at www.shuswapvillas.com. Here you'll find information about Shuswap cottages, a community of lovely townhomes in the Sicamous area of British Columbia.
The setting provides a perfect balance between unspoiled beauty and modern amenities. You'll have great views of two lakes, Mara and Shuswap, from the windows of your cottage. Imagine watching the sunrise paint the lake with light while you sip your morning coffee and plan what you'll do that day. An amenities building will provide swimming pools, hot tubs and steam rooms.
Shuswap cottages are spacious two-story townhomes. You'll find a master bedroom with an en-suite bath on the lower level, along with a guest bedroom and bath. The upper level is an open-plan living space with a luxury kitchen. This makes entertaining a delight, and also keeps things cozy for family time. Serve meals in the dining area, or use the covered balcony and enjoy the fresh air. Best of all, you'll have great views from every window.
The Sicamous district is situated in the Monashee mountains. This region is easy to reach, less than half a day by car from either Calgary or Vancouver. You'll find plenty to do, regardless of the season. The marina is convenient for boating and waterskiing, there is an award-winning golf course just 2 km away, and the mountains provide plenty of opportunities to hike or snowmobile.
For an adventure closer to home, try a lake tour or visit one of the historical sites. Take a break at one of the local restaurants, then see what the local shops have to offer. Everything happens at your own pace.
Shuswap cottages are more than a vacation home. They're a chance to wash away the pressures of modern life and become yourself again.
