Satellite TV has a lot of advantages as a way to watch TV, and getting satellite TV from Dish Network is the best possible way to get the TV that you want to watch at a price that you can afford! That's because no one else does such an incredible job of delivering more first class TV channels to people all over the country, and offering the best technology currently available!

Dish Network's commitment to its subscribers has been proven time and again through everything from the incredible number of channels that it provides, to its innovative use of DVR technology, to its aggressive initiative to bring as many HDTV channels online as possible! All of this makes Dish Network a great company to do business with!

Dish Network was founded on the premise that every family, regardless of where they live, should have access to great TV and plenty of it! This company lives up to that guiding premise better than it ever has before with an introductory entertainment package that contains over one hundred channels! This package, specifically America's Top 100 Entertainment Package, is like a breath of fresh air to anyone who has been subjected to over the air terrestrial TV or cable TV. That's because it offers such a huge selection of channels at such an affordable price!

These channels include lots of great content for kids such as cartoons and educational programs, plenty of options for adults in the form of movie channels, and lots of options that the whole family can enjoy such as channels dedicated to sports and hobbies. All of this makes America's Top 100 a great option for the whole family! In addition, you can opt for much larger entertainment packages too. For instance, America's Top 200, America's Top 250, and America's Everything Pack allow you to access some truly great TV through the enormous number of channels that they offer!

Dish Network has also mastered a number of aspects of DVR technology in order to provide even better service to its subscribers. A DVR is an ingenious device that can record video directly off of the satellite signal and then play it back at a later time. It's easy to program to record things that you can be around to watch when they come on, but Dish Network has taken their usefulness far beyond time shifting TV! For example, it's now possible to have video on demand options through a satellite TV service!

This is done by transmitting special VOD content in the background of the satellite signal and letting a DVR record and store it on a hidden part of the hard disk. That video on demand content is then displayed on a pay per view basis through the Dish On Demand service! Another great application of DVR technology is the PocketDish which is a portable device that can display video downloaded from a DVR! These innovations definitely help to make Dish Network a more attractive option!

Dish Network has also been instrumental in furthering HDTV technology! HDTV channels will allow your HDTV set to meet its full potential with the best possible picture and incredible sound that will make the step from home entertainment system to home theater a reality! Dish Network also offers a number of different options for adding HDTV channels to your entertainment package!

Satellite TV just got a whole lot better thanks to Dish Network!
