Is it possible to receive thousands of traffic hits to your website in a single day or even an hour? It must be remembered that not only is this possible, but many sites exceed this number on a regular basis. So with this being said, here are some great suggestions on how to get massive traffic to your website.

Look for and obtain keywords that are relevant to your niche.

If the idea of spending a few hours a day on research does not excite you too much, you ought to keep in mind that it can be done easier with new and modern tools and it should be a top priority to get them. You can spend hours a week hunting down short and long tail keywords that when used correctly can greatly increase your income. If you do not have the time you can always outsource this task, along with many other chores also. Thinking about what your prospective visitor might be searching for and what they are typing into the search box should give you some ideas of where to start.

Writing is one of the best traffic generating methods available.

I read a while back that to become an authority on any subject, you have to become an author first on that subject, and this still holds true today. Tell me what author you know of who is not a speaker somehow? Very few I can safely presume, and speakers get paid a lot of money to speak to large crowds. What I am getting at is that you are actually writing a lot every day anyway, except that it is done verbally. You talk to your loved ones, your friends your fellow workers and even your pets. So just learn to write what you are speaking and feeling and you could become a very accomplished author.

Types of communications that are in written format.

If you take the above tip on writing what you feel comfortable speaking about, before you know it you could be writing any number of traffic generating communications such as press releases, articles and even unique content for your website. This can improve your on page and off page SEO in no time at all. For on page SEO search engines love to find unique and quality content on websites, and if you submit your articles to numerous article directories, your off page SEO will soar from the numerous backlinks pointing back at your site. If you keep it up, you could achieve like others thousands of visitors a day to your website.
