When a child has an inability to learn it might be due to lack of exposure to the information he or she needs to learn it. If a child seems to have an inability to learn a particular subject, it might help to locate resources that can aid in teaching him or her successfully. For instance, a number of math books are written so as to illustrate steps in accomplishing certain types of math, but the books are often written for a single level of learning. Therefore, all students are expected to learn at the same time and on the same level that the book teaches.

Some books teach through pictures and illustrations, while other books display graphs, charts, etc. Most everyone learns in a different way; some learn by looking at pictures, while others learn math by studying charts, statistics and graphs.
