Keep Your Body Working
Paul Fitzgerald
Allow me to enlighten you with an update to that old chestnut: not only is water the main component if water. No it's not any old water. Our bodies are mostly mad eup of alkaline water specifically. Usually, the water in the human body is of a pH value of around 7.4.
No wonder that many health and medical specialists are now hailing alkaline water as a significant health boost possibly one of the most significant healing things that we know of. Every day we lose over two liters of alkaline water from our bodies, through sweat, urine and feces, as well as normal breathing. By the time you're thirsty, you're already dehydrated. Even mild dehydration slows down your metabolic rate and that can leave you feeling tired and sluggish.
You can also significantly reduce your risk of developing colon cancer by drinking enough alkaline water about five glasses of alkaline water every day. That's not much of an effort to make to save your colon and perhaps your life, is it? That same amount of alkaline water also reduces your risk of developing colon cancer by almost 80% according to scientific research.
Drinking enough alkaline water also aids the transit of digestive waste through the gut, which is why it helps reduce your risk of colon cancer. It's also why it helps you lose weight and absorb more nutrients from your food, so you are better able to fight off disease and viruses and harmful bacteria. You also help your body to restore you're body's natural pH balance that it wants to have, because it helps rid you of excess fat and fat is acidic.
Proper hydration with alkaline water helps your skin to look younger and have fewer wrinkles. Your joints also need the lubrication that alkaline water gives. It can ease your back ache as it plumps out your spinal discs so they can do the job they were designed to do.
And alkaline water increases your brain power! More than eighty per cent of your brain tissue is made up of alkaline water, and so it needs more of the same to keep it hydrated and functioning well. It will increase blood flow as your blood will not become too thick like it can in dehydration. That has to be good for your organs!
So, alkaline water is like an all-over body tonic. It's vital that you take in enough alkaline water daily to maintain the proper functioning of your body.
