Ok, so you have heard about nothing more lately than online bingo. And although you have heard of it you really do not know the first thing about the game. These are issues that we hear about all the time on our website that is dedicated to everything that is bingo. So if you are interested in learning more about the game then here is some information to help you get started.

First of all it is important to understand that bingo is nothing more than a numbers game that is played with randomly selected balls that have numbers on them. And it is these random numbers that you will look to your bingo card to see if they are a match. The object of the game is to get the appropriate numbers that will qualify you to win.

However, there are two versions of the game. You can either play the 75 ball or the 90 ball version. The 75 ball game is most often the chosen version in America. And while both games require you to purchase tickets or cards that have pre-selected numbers on them, each game has its own rules as to how you fill it to win. Let's start with the popular American style bingo.

This 75 ball bingo game is played on cards that consist of 75 numbers arranged in five columns of 15 numbers each. And at the top of each column you will see the letters that make up the word bingo. To win this game there are usually set patterns you must fill on the card, and the jackpot can be won if you fill it within a certain number of balls called. These bingo patterns can range from four across, to all four corners covered, even an entire card can be filled to fit the jackpot rules.

On the other hand, you will find that the 90 ball version is most popular in the U.K. With this game you also have cards to purchase but these are designed with three rows of nine columns. And you'll see that each card will have six separate areas with 90 numbers distributed between them. Furthermore, with this version of bingo you will find that of the nine squares found in each row, there will be five of them that have the numbers ranging from 1to 90 and the rest will be empty.

With this game there are three ways to win, and that is either through filling a single, or two or three horizontal lines. But what makes this bingo version great fun is that once the first set is won, the game continues on for the other two sets for a total of three prizes. And what's more, if you get the full house with the correct number of jackpot balls, you will win the jackpot prize. So regardless of which version of bingo you play, you are sure to find it one of the only games you get online to enjoy.
