The Scanning Electron Microscope is better than the Transmission Electron Microscope as S.E.M. can analyze anything like insects, crystals, biological tissues, blood samples, blood cells and a lot more specimens that are not too thin. But however you need to coat the specimen that is to be viewed through S.E.M.
