One exciting thing about making income on the Internet is you control how successful you become. It should be comforting for you to know that you are starting at the very beginning just like other successful Internet marketers have done. This is also true for creating a long term income and in this article we want to talk about starting from scratch with a residual income program.

Residual income programs are anything that allows you to get paid over and over whether you continue to work or not. One business model that has been very successful in creating residual income is network marketing.

The appealing thing about network marketing in the past is that anyone could start regardless of their current situation and create a residual income from their own business. This was true because you could start a network marketing business for not a lot of money out of your own pocket.

Today this continues to be true and in many ways it is even better because of the use of the Internet. What the Internet has done has created more residual income programs for you to pick from as a network marketer.

It also allows you to build an income much faster than the old multi-level marketing days because you literally can build a worldwide business online. The types of product that lend themselves well to a worldwide business are more Internet based products.

Membership programs, information products, website hosting, domain names, software products, and so on can all be accessed immediately online. These make great residual income programs and are working their way into the network marketing industry.

Every good network marketing program allows you to earn money on the front end by retailing products, and they allow you to earn money on the back end by building a distributorship of people underneath you.

This is where the residual income portion of network marketing is made. As you build a network of distributors you can continue to earn money as long as products are being purchased and sold.

The larger your group becomes a more potential income you have from it. This is made possible through duplication and leveraging your time which are two of the most popular aspects of a network marketing business.

What makes this such a fantastic residual income program is that as your group continues to move product you can take time off or even retire and continue to get paid in the future.
