What is it? It's a briefcase surveillance system. Now you can be the Man (or Woman) in the Grey Flannel Suit who's also a covert operator of some sort.
Who needs a hidden camera in a briefcase? Just about anyone who wants to record activity without being obvious about it. This would include the aforementioned spies. It would also include private investigators who investigate domestic or corporate situations. It may be you, to protect yourself and your family, and your possessions.
Maybe you own a business and need to have evidence of shady dealings by an employee. A strategically placed covert camera, inside a briefcase, could gain you the photographic evidence you need.
What are these briefcase surveillance systems like? Today's models are discreet looking, lightweight, with state-of-the art dependability. The digital video recorders installed in these briefcase systems are compact. There's no longer the need to lug around a cumbersome unit.
Some of the features of a modern briefcase surveillance system are:
* Slim lightweight style: You can easily saunter down the street with one without looking like you're lifting weights.
* Dual cameras: Most briefcases come with two cameras. Usually there is a camera on the side of the briefcase and one on the bottom. This means you can place the briefcase flat or upright and still acquire the photos you need.
* Digital Video Recorder (DVR) capability: These DVR's are rechargeable and sit snugly inside the briefcase. They're the storehouse for all recorded activity.
* 12-hour battery packs: these are highly portable and rechargeable.
* Black and White and Color Photograph capabilities: Some of these hidden camera systems can take clear black and white photos under very dark conditions.
* All-in-one units: Manufacturers supply complete packages, which include cameras, DVR's, power supplies, batteries, and cables.
* Storage pockets within: These briefcases have ample pocket space for storing and organizing of accessories and any documentation.
* User friendly: Most of the covert camera systems in these briefcases are easy to use. You do not need to be a techno-wizard to operate one.
* Stored evidence you collect is date and time-stamped. This allows for accuracy in building your case if there are legal proceedings.
* High-resolution cameras: You can have readily available quality images, which offer excellent contrast and vivid colors.
* Models come in leather or aluminum. This offers aesthetic choice so your briefcase surveillance system is appropriate to the situation.
* Some models come with key-chain style remote controls. You can place the briefcase away from you so as not to be obvious, but still be in control of it.
How does a briefcase video surveillance system work? A power switch inside the briefcase turns the unit's camera on. The camera records its viewing field. These images are stored in the digital video recorder tucked away inside the briefcase. These stored images are now available for scrutiny wherever and whenever you want.
Whatever your security needs, there are options available to ensure you capture the evidence you need. A briefcase system with hidden cameras and a digital video recorder is an excellent way to go when you need a compact security system.
