When they sign up, be sure that you do something extra that was not promised, like another free report or a free e-book. You can do this when you send out the thank you email for their signing up. To do this effectively, set up a thank you message with the site for them to go to get the first free eBook for signing up, and also include another site for the second free bonus that they did not even know they were getting.

Let the person know on the sign up page to expect an email confirmation that they will need to click on to get the address for the free eBook. So now you have a sign up page on line, and a picture graphic of the eBook or report on the site and s sign up form that sends the sign up to your autoresponder, which sends out a thank you and please confirm email, and when they double opt-in, then a second email is generated which gives them the bonus site,

and the surprise bonus site to download.

Be sure the sign up page of your site includes a description by you of how the e-book has helped you. You include this in order to create a need and fulfill the need and make them want to take action and sign up.The free eBook offer for signing up with their name and email address is incentive for them

to sign up. While lists are built, you should remind yourself that it is a slow process.

Remember that the free offer should be something to do with the theme of your website. An eBook about apples would not be incentive to someone coming to your website to learn about oranges. Make sure this eBook or report is relevant to your site and that it is interesting.

So your requirements are simple, a web sign u p page with information on how the e-book helped you, the eBook, and an autoresponder system. As you can see the building of the list is simple.
