The Smooth CE Elliptical Trainer is one of the more simple elliptical training machines produced under the Smooth line, but the CE Elliptical Trainer is still a very solid exercise machine that is built for regular work out usage. These machines are still a great value, as you would expect from any exercise machine coming from Smooth.

One reason why the Smooth CE Elliptical machine might be a better choice over a similar machine produced by another company is simply that Smooth products often offer amazing warranties and customer service that no one else in the industry can match. This is in addition to the fact that many experts and trainers alike agree that exercise machines created by smooth are also often simply better made then those of their competitors.

The Smooth CE is lauded for its surprisingly quiet engine, even when being run at high speeds, as well as for being a very compact and efficient elliptical machine. This is all in addition to the amazing 75 levels of resistance offered, which vary from a low of 25 watts to a high of 400 watts. The LCD graphic display is fairly basic, but contains all the information you need like pulse, watts, total km, speed, room temperature, calories burned, and everything else you need to know.

The Smooth CE has an adjustable foot pedal motion that is patented specifically for this company. This movement allows a unique and gentle feeling that keeps pressure off your ankles, knees, and all joints. If there is any criticism, it's that because of spacing, the CE can be a little uncomfortable for people who are taller than 6'3", so if you're taller than that you may want to look for another model or at least test this one out first.

Overall this is a quality elliptical machine that is especially good for people on a budget, and will satisfy the needs of most individuals looking for a great home workout.
