They have festive set meal for christmas! Should check it out!
The ambiance is really nice.. i like the details of the restaurant ! Service is good. I tried the dim sum, meet expectation.
Nice ambience but pretty pricey . A bit noisy since its along the walk way at mbs . Food is ok .
The food wasn't bad, but wasn't that great either. For the price tag, I was expecting more.
It was my off day so I went to check out the Marina Bay Sands Sky Park with my friend. Indeed the view at the top of the Sky Park was magnificent. Unfortunately, at Marina Bay Sands, it was quite impossible to find "cheap food" restaurants except for 2 food kiosks at the retail area unless you enter the casino. From the map directory, it seemed like there are a few reasonable priced restaurants and a food court inside the casino. Anyway after walking around, I settled at Jin Shan Lou a chinese restaurant that offered set dinner for 2 which cost $100 for 6 dishes. Food and service were good. Two dishes I enjoyed particularly were the steamed cod fish with broad bean crumbs and stir-fried prawn with blackberry mayonnaise honey mustard sauce. Both dishes had unique sauces which gave them the extra flavouring and texture making a common dish that you can even prepare at home stood out.
Jin shan serves a variety of food and you get even just order some hawker fare like hor fun, but of course you have to pay for a higher restaurant price. Some of their dishes are just ordinary and I meant that the coffee shop hawker fare might even be able to beat them down. However, they do have some dishes which are of good standard. One of them will be the steam fish slices, if not wrong, it was black cod fish so the fish has enough fish oil in it. It was so smooth and when you take a bite with the sauce, it was so delicious. Another highly recommended dish will be the roasted platter that consists of duck, char siew etc. The roasted stuff was good. Crispy and tender. For me personally, this place is for "once in a long while" gathering.

Jin Shan is located at the newly opened Marina Bay Sands. It is a cantonese restaurant with good ambience and beautiful interior decor. They have many signature dishes ranging from braised whole abalone, shark's fin soup to stir fried pork ribs with coffee sauce. For the shark's fine soup, you can really find pieces of shark fin. It was very rich on taste, not very salty. Do leave some room in your stomach for their desserts as the desserts are very nice and cute. I had the gui ling gao and it was very refreshing. It is a good place for family gatherings.
