Mr Joseph Chai graduated with an Honours Degree from the National University of Singapore and went on to obtain his Master of Laws from the same university. He was called as an Advocate & Solicitor of Singapore in 1992.

Mr Chai is also appointed as Commissioner for Oaths and a Notary Public by the Singapore Academy of Law. His diverse experience stems from a broad spectrum of clients in matters relating to accident and workshop claims, personal injury, insurances claims, matrimonial and family related claims, trade secrets, copyright infringement, construction claims, franchise/licensing disputes employment/labour disputes, criminal and computer software/systems disputes.

Mr Chai also draws on his previous experience as legal counsel with the Land Transport Authority of Singapore (LTA), dealing with various aspects of vehicle regulatory and enforcement and land transport issues. Previously, as the Head of Prosecution at LTA, he oversaw compliance with relevant legislation within the regulatory framework.

Mr Chai commenced his own practice as Messrs Joseph Chai & Co. and is dedicated to provide efficient and effective legal solutions to clients in an ever changing legal environment.
