Lee Wei Song School of Music (LWSSoM) was founded in 1995 by acclaimed Singapore music producers and songwriters Lee Wei Song and Lee Si Song. Under their guidance, the school has since produced various superstars and platinum records for artistes.

In 2005, the school successfully acquired the recognition of London College of Music (LCM) Examinations by Thames Valley University. Back then, LWSSoM was the only examination centre in Singapore to conduct examinations using Chinese Pop songs. This move was made to put our students through an internationally recognized music exam so as to keep the standards of our students in check. Ever since then, the school has been the preferred LCM Examinations test centre for our students.
